Do not let it sit in a gas tank and do nothing but eat the crud off the bottom of the tank , haha. This was on Saturday evening. Where is it more beneficial? In the engine or gas tank ? Any thoughts on the LUCAS injector cleaner? I just had my XRde-carbonized recently.


Replied by KZ 2on topic Is seafoam safe to use? SeaFoam has isopropyl alcohol, not ethanol. The Sea Foam I have goes in the gas tank or the oil. I had planned on putting it in the gas tank. It says, to put one pint per gallons.


Like a lot of members here, I have had problems starting my car when very cold outside or rainy weather but no problem when dry and warm. Drove it around for 20min. Car started on first crank. I have been thinking about doing the SEAFOAM treatment through the gas tank , crankcase and the brake booster line.


I spoke briefly with Wes and PMQ about this and have heard pros and cons. It can be added right to the RV Gas Tank , but, i was wondering if i could tee into the Generators fuel line and have it sucked in slowly without any problems ? I was using seafoam because I had suspected that water had entered my gas tank either from a loose gas cap or from bad gasoline at the pump. I think the timing of the fuel pump failure and the use of the seafoam might be related. Enyone put it in their gas tank or crank case? Also looks like im going to autozone to get some to.


Supposably seafoam , or a parent. When you lift it up, detach the rubber tube from the petcock, leaving the tub on the bike.
